"Traditional media differ from the New Media of the Internet, which include such diverse technologies as blogs, wikis, machinima, Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube, podcasts, virtual worlds and web pages."

New Media is a way of expressing ourselves. Exposing our talents and truths. Running with our minds free for creativity. With New Media you can do just about anything. This field of study has diverse fields of study that you can obtain optimal skills to enhance the dream or vision. But what really would one say when asked the question, what is new media?

Media is constantly changing and evolving and its happening right before us. But soon, media will have evolved into something else that we've never had or seen before. The brains are amongst us everywhere explaining ideas and exuding vision using preferred medium that makes the media come alive.

Whatever it is that you do, how are people getting to see what that is you do. Is it through music, do you play an instrument, engineer, vocals? Is it through podcasts? Do you make movies, direct videos, films? Is photography your thing? Or you might be a writer. There are a number of avenues you can take to get where you want to go with your vision. As long as the inspiration continues to grow, New Media will never be concrete.
