What would life be like today if Artificial intelligence was nonexistent? Everything would be a lot slower. We live in a world where we need things done as quickly as possible and we want to obtain things even faster. Patience is something that we as a society struggle with, so why not have man and computer become one when creating?
J.C.R. Licklider explains in his study that the thinker will develop ideas about creating the next invention for the future and allowing the computer/machine make the vision come to life. The partnership between man and machine in my opinion will only evolve, making the world easier. Will Artificial Intelligence ever surpass the human brain?
I believe that it will take some serious engineering to make sure that doesn't ever occur. I understand that I-Robot is a movie but that movie opened my eyes to what can be created. Science can be a good thing, don't get me wrong. But it also can be dangerous, it depends on the motive of that genius.
